ADV.1 Audi R8

31 01 2011

I think this car would make Iron Man proud.

Fun Fact: The company name Audi, comes from the surname of founder August Horch.  His surname meant listen in German.  When translated into Latin, it became Audi.

Some recently released photos of an all carbon GTR in wind tunnel testing.  I can’t even begin to imagine the performance this type of car would achieve.  Thanks Nate Dogg for the tip.

A fantastic shot of the pedals of a McLaren F1.  Just as you would expect, nothing fancy here, only function function function.

Carbon White 458

30 01 2011

A nice shot of a modded Carbon White Ferrari 458 at the recent Tokyo Auto Salon.  The 458 is simply a stunning car.  I wasn’t the biggest fan when I first saw pictures of the car, but once I started seeing it in person, I quickly forgot the F430 even existed.

The Pits

30 01 2011

On the surface, racing seems like a sport solely dependent on the performance of a single person.  After all, there’s no one else in the car when a driver wins or loses.  However, the truth is, the pit crew can play just as vital of a role and change the course of a race.  Cheers to the masked unsung heroes of the motorsport world.
