>>Flashback Friday<< Kriss Kross – Jump

27 08 2010

It’s funny how some songs and fads can just take the country by storm and forever hold a place in history.  For me, Kriss Kross – Jump is forever ingrained in my youth.  I remember when we used to have Kriss Kross days as kids and wear clothes backwards cause we thought we were too cool.  Total flashback…enjoy, and I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hang Loose!

By the time you read this, I’ll probably be one of those specs on the beach.  That’s right folks, I’ll be in Hawaii for work/vacay for about the next week!  It’ll be nice to get away and recharge my batteries.

>>WESTCOAST WEDNESDAY<< Westside Connection – Bow Down

25 08 2010

The anthem for Westcoasters back in the day, Westside Connection – Bow Down is a classic song that pays tribute to the best coast, the left coast!  Happy hump day!

UFC 118: Edgar Vs. Penn 2!

24 08 2010

This Saturday, BJ “The Prodigy” Penn will have his chance to fight Frankie “The Answer” Edgar for the lightweight championship.  Watching some pre-fight shows last night, this could be a pretty  exciting match.  It’s always fun when a little trash talk is thrown in.  Edgar beat Penn last time around taking the belt from Penn, and shortly after said Penn does not even deserve a rematch.  Supposedly, this comment has lit a fire under Penn and he’s vowed to destroy Edgar.

Another match to watch is Randy “The Natural” Couture vs. James “Lights Out” Toney.  Toney comes from a boxing background, but that hasn’t kept him from running his mouth saying he’s going to knock Couture out.

My read on these two fights?  Penn will kill Edgar, Couture will cut Toney’s MMA career short.
