What A Slore

6 01 2012

Yea…I said it, Tiger’s ex is a slore.  If you don’t know the definition, Google it. I for one haven’t kept up with Tiger’s divorce, but I guess his ex got $100 million in the settlement.   Which you might say, serves him right.  Ok, we’re on the same page here, I agree he should ink up and pay for his actions.  So why do I have a sudden disgust for his now ex wife?  Check out the photos below…

Shortly after their divorce she purchased a $12 million 6 bedroom 8 bathroom mansion in South Beach, Florida.

Beautiful place right?  Not good enough for Ms. Ex Tiger

She literally bulldozed the whole house leaving only rubble with no current plans on what to do with the property.  I’m not sure how much bare land is available in South Beach, but I’m pretty sure she could have bought a cheaper home to destroy.  It just goes to show, money can not buy intelligence, grace or style.  I hope she enjoys her $12 million worth of dirt now.  I no longer have sympathy for the girl, she needs to learn the value of the dollar.

The People’s Navy

15 12 2011

Above is a satellite image captured of China’s first aircraft carrier currently undergoing sea trials in the Yellow Sea.   The image was taken by a private satellite company on Tuesday.  The carrier started off as a Russian built vessel but was not able to be completed before the Soviet Union was broken up.  Ukraine ended up obtaining the incomplete ship, and sold it to China in 1998.  China claimed the ship was merely for research and R&D,  but now that is complete and fully outfitted, they have admitted that it will be an actual carrier.

Above is a close up shot of the carrier while still under construction in port.  It doesn’t really resemble a conventional Western world appearance.  It almost looks like an Invincible class UK carrier with the ramp style deck…more of a “Harrier Carrier” look.  Experts say it’ll probably be at least another year before the ship will have it’s own air squadron.  It’ll be interesting to see what style of planes end up on there, maybe the Russian made SU-33 or the MiG-29k?  Either way, it’s crazy to see how far along China has come…both economically and militarily.

Silly Turkeys

29 11 2011

I really want to have compassion for these guys, after all, I’m just as guilty of street racing back in the day.  BUT!  Seriously?  Broad day light, kids walking around, in what looks like a residential neighborhood?  Take it to the track, it’s obvious the guy in the C5 can’t even safely handle the performance of the car.  Just glad no one really got hurt, except probably some egos.  Stick to eating turkey on Thanksgiving, not street racing!

Failure

14 11 2011

As much as the words “fail” and “failure” are abused in the internet world, I just couldn’t think of a more suitable description of the below scenario.

While there is much heated debate over the conditions that led to the resulting accident…all I can say is…I’ve never seen a Volk deteriorate to such a state.  Wheels and tires are the only thing keeping your car planted to the ground.  It adversely affects your braking, acceleration, traction and fuel mileage.  Keep that in mind the next time you decide to pinch those pennies.

Professional Road Rage

8 06 2011

“Yesterday’s Silverstone GT1 race served witness to one of the strangest racing accidents in the history of GT Racing. It seems like Aston Martin driver Stefan Mücke, saw a deep form of the colour red after being spun out by JRM driver Richard Westbrook and decided to take justice into his own hands.

Watch the video and you’ll see him pull (what appears to be) a flying run at the GT-R, taking off a wheel off the Nissan, but then losing control and severely wrecking his own Aston Martin. The impact was so extreme that the engine was dislodged from the chassis! Someone has a bit of a temper issue perhaps?

I’m hearing that Mücke is under threat of having his race license revoked over the incident.” – Speedhunte

Looks like someone has played Playstation one too many times.  Sorry buddy, can’t hit reset, you may have just cost yourself your career and your seat in the FIA series.

R.I.P. Nate Dogg

15 03 2011

If you haven’t heard, Nate Dogg’s family just released the news that he has passed.  Although the actual cause of death is unknown at this time, Nate Dogg recently suffered two strokes and has been in and out of the hospital.  Rest In Peace Nate Dogg.

Purple Haze

28 02 2011

I dunno, maybe it’s just me…but I think the owner of this car went a little too overboard with Matte Purple.  Sure the SLS is a performance car, but in my opinion, it’s a little too classy of a car to paint/wrap an obnoxious color.

I’m a strong believer that once you have the money to afford high horsepower cars, you should invest as much money and time as possible into proper seat time at a racing school.  On that note…always wear your seat belt!

I always liked the look of this 5th gen modified Accord.  Back in high school, one of my first cars was a Honda Accord, so I’ve always held a soft spot for them.  That being said, I felt almost let down when I found out recently this car was rocking fake TE’s.
