Super sick man made wave chaos fun! Before any animal rights activists or environmentalists get worked up, this is a fresh water river that connects to the ocean every year, but sand builds up building a natural dam. Again, it’s rain water and there’s no fish hurt in the whole ordeal.

This past weekend, the girlfriend and I went down to Wave House in San Diego for Kevie Kev’s bday…if you haven’t been you should MUST! Wave House not only has two simulated wave machines for surfing, but they also have $4 margaritas!
The bday boy himself and I. You can tell this picture is early in the day because Kevin is still smiling…and still standing. haha
If you haven’t been able to tell from the sequence of these photos, I’m pretty much a natural to surfing on wave machines. Someone in the crowd said I looked like an Asian Kelly Slater out on the waves.
A few adult beverages later, Kevie Kev wasn’t feeling too hot. His demon tattoo looked thirsty, but he was out for the count. Happy Birthday Kev! Another well spent weekend gone, and another AF Fam adventure for the books.
