It’s pretty crazy how aggressive the Mercedes line up has gotten over the past few years.  I remember growing up, Mercedes was always the classy but somewhat stuffy brand that older people drove.  Now, half their cars are available with some type of V8/V12 bi turbo or supercharged variant.  Kudos to their engineering and marketing team for giving the brand some bite!

Seen it done before with different cars, but always awesome to see, and it puts it into perspective just how fast F1 cars are compared to street cars.

Let The Games Begin…

Although the F1 season is quickly approaching, it comes bittersweet this year.  Yes, I’m excited as ever to watch the adrenaline pumping competition unfold, but I’m disappointed that the Texas venue looks to be falling apart.  I was hoping to attend the race later this year and watch the action live.  I guess I’ll just have to wait until next season for New York.  Long live F1!

Speaking of Black Series…behold the new C63 AMG Black Series.  Luxury and performance all in one.  I’m usually a BMW fan, but there really is no answer to this from the ///M side.

It doesn’t get much more savage than a ZondaR.  Ask Ferrari.

F1 New Jersey

18 11 2011

While New Jersey F1 isn’t scheduled until 2013, someone has already taken it upon themselves to do a rendering and full run though of the proposed track.  If the virtual track is anything like the real deal, it should make for a great race with some great views!

Truly, I mean this with all conviction, does it get any better?  F1 Abu Dhabi, speechless now and speechless as I watched.  Simply gorgeous.  Cheers to Lewis Hamilton for clenching the win for his mom, and for McLaren for making such long strides to tirelessly improve their chassis.  Long live F1!
